This extra long tsuka katana(nodachi) was hand-forged by traditional way, Full Tang Construction, there have real hamon(temper line) on blade, extra long tsuka was covered by real ray-skin, the tsuka-ito(handle-wrap) using cotton. Copper tsuba.



The katana is full functional cold steel. Twin Pegs through the Handle and Tang for extra strength, The blade using T10 tool steel, and the blade with real clay-tempered process hardness to approx. 59HRc. Blade have hand mirror polished and razor-sharp cutting edge, easy to cut bamboo or tatami(straw mat).

The katana can be complete disassembled for full maintenance.
