This wakizashi was created using 1095 high carbon steel, razor sharpened by full hand, differentially hardened in a clay-tempering process for blade, easy to cut bamboo or tatami, ready for battle. Tsuka was covered by real ray-skin, the tsuka-ito(handle-wrap) using silk. Copper tsuba and fuchi&kashira.
